At Sam's club those moments are right next to the entrance and come in the form of many monitors. I don't get why watching a show at our house is not nearly as fun as watching one in a cart. I guess they are just tapping in to their man instincts already and powering down upon entering a store.
I love raking leaves. We filled our first four bags on Monday before FHE. It was so fun and I couldn't help reminisce on all the bags we filled growing up. Starting these boys young.
So Ian's favorite game is to put a leaf in his mouth, give you a mischievous smile, and run the other direction. It is basically adorable/aggravating. Icky is not in this child's vocabulary and he has no desire to add it.
My little baller. My boys were made for the outdoors. I have an adventurer and an athlete, just like mom and dad.
Viewing the vulture at the zoo with friends. The zoo here is free in the month of October. I think it is because all of the animals aren't out due to the cold, but it is still perfect for Tate. There was no crowds and he enjoyed more freedom than he is used to. We are working on the concept of staying where mommy can see him. He has no qualms of running free. This morning in his prayer he prayed that the snakes wouldn't be sleeping; his prayers were answered. I have never seen so many mobile reptiles in the reptile house. His one request when we got back in the car was to find a bigger zoo next time. He's so funny.
Just before leaving we walked over to inspect the train. Tate was telling his friends all about the parts of the steam engine, the colors, the whistles, and how it worked. The conductor heard and let Tate sit on the Engine and ring the bell. He even offered to let him pull the whistle but Tate was apprehensive. I caved in and bought train tickets because the conductor was so nice. Tate was in heaven. He was a little disappointed that he couldn't ride on the engine and didn't understand the conductors fears of insurance issues. He absolutely loves trains!
Growling like a lion. It kinda looks like he might eat her...
Today was also the Palmer Trick-or-Treat. I don't have Ian and Tate's costumes finished so they had to wear what we had. I used an old metal coat hanger and a piece of felt and we turned his pajamas into the perfect Micky Mouse attire. He even does an adorable Micky Mouse voice impression. He loved dressing up in a costume. I can see this as a winter day game in the upcoming months.
Ian wore the costume I made for Tate for his first Halloween. It was fun to see it used again. They had so much fun at Daddy's school. Tate has already asked if we can go again tomorrow. I am really excited for Halloween this year. Last year our celebrations were minimal. This year Tate is loving the Netflix holiday shows, library books, and fall crafts. I love that he is old enough to enjoy the holidays!

Oh my goodness! Their costumes--adorableness! And I would love to hear Tate explain the art of trains to me; I'm afraid he knows more about trains than his twenty-seven year old aunt!
